The sea kayaking trip planned for Saturday 28 November (from Bullock Harbour) went ahead. Weather was foggy and cold but the wind stayed quiet. Some pics are available in the Gallery. The trip was organised with Deep Blue Sea Kayaking who provided the equipment, including wetsuits, cags, kayaks etc. Some brough their personal gear. The trip ran from 13:30 PM until dusk (4:30) and we landed at Dalkey Island for a hot lunch (flask with tea/sambos) and we had a walk around the island's landmarks. Some wildlife was encountered: two harbour seals at Bullock and rabbits 'n goats on Dalkey island. Anthony, Conor, Eamon, Michael, Sinead and Shaun paddled. No one got seasick ! |
